Like you probably already know this project began 4 months ago. The time spend very very quickly, seems like it was yesterday when we start to cut the grass, build the shelter or think about all the things we wanted to do…
During this 4 months I reckon that everybody spent great moments working in the garden, at list me :P, because although sometimes weeding, watering, digging o cutting is not so funny, people who you are working with make you feel happy and make you spend very good moments and enjoy during the days you are working.
A lot of people have worked in that project, I am sorry but I can’t remember all their names, short-terms volunteers, friends of Bradford, long term volunteers… and more people who wanted to participate in that project because thank to them today, we can say that the plot we had at the beginning( or like somebody call tip) today it’s a real garden!

Thanks to everybody, and we hope that all of this efforts of each days.

Guille.

Hi! I'm Riikka, a new short-term volunteer from Finland. I started work in the Common garden last week and I have liked it a lot. :)
Last Thursday I did some weeding with a polish girl. There were lots of strawberrys under the bad grass. It was important to save them because they are delicious. :p
The dog called Ischka (or it sounds like that...) was really interest of strawberrys, hopely it didn't mush them.

Clearing and building

Clearing and building were the things which we were working during the mot time in the first month, like I said in the last post, we were working in the shelter a lot during the first month, sharing the time with the cutting of the bad grass and putting away all of the rubbish( we will speck about that)

In my opinion this days were the worse of the project, we were starting a project, we didn’t know if we will work alone or if we will have plenty of people working with us, the only thing we had was a very big plot with too much rubbish and things half-finished…because of that at the beginning was a bit unmotivated … but with the pass of the days we were finding help from Bees, squoters”” and volunteer short term, all of they gave as all of the energy we need to carry on, and grateful to them , at the end, we never ljavascript:void(0)
Publishost the motivation to try to built this garden.
Ha ha, sorry, I was listening music at home and ha ha, I was touched and I lost a bit the plot of the post…so, yes, after that, the things I was speaking about was…the first thing Agnes and me thought we had to do was the shelther like I said and the clearing of the whole garden.we though that we could try to involve somebody in the project if when he o she arrive the only thing that he o she could see its a, yes a garden bat the televisions, rubbishes, computers and all of the different kind of rubbish you can imagine… so we start to clean to get a real garden.

Quickly we start to get some help from the short-term, we were rally lucky to cant rely on short term in the firs weeks when the work is more hard.

With we have taken, you can make you a idea about all of the rubbish we took from the garden...

Also, here I show you how the plot was at the beggining of the project... full of bad grass :S

At the end, all of this rubbish finished in the container :P... and everybody happy:D

That's all... I hope to show you more or less a view in general of the garden I didn't find any which I like...

Regards Guille.
